During the fourth quarter of 2022, Denmark saw notable performance from the top five social networking apps on a unified platform. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps showed varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.

TikTok Now experienced a significant decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 30.3K in late September and dropping to around 475 by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw a downward trend, decreasing from about 26.3K to 17.8K over the same period.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a relatively stable download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 5.5K and 8.5K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users hovered around the 2M mark, peaking at approximately 2.36M in late October and ending the quarter at about 2.08M.

Messenger from Meta Platforms, Inc. showed consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 5.9K to 7.3K. It recorded a slight increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $185 in late November. Weekly active users remained steady, averaging around 1.5M throughout the quarter.

Facebook also from Meta Platforms, Inc., experienced stable weekly downloads, staying between 4.5K and 6.5K. Weekly revenue showed fluctuations, peaking at approximately $2.9K at the end of November and December. The app's weekly active users remained robust, averaging around 2.7M during the quarter.

BeReal: Photos & Friends Daily saw a decrease in weekly downloads, starting at around 7.2K in late September and dropping to about 2.5K by the end of December. Despite this, the app maintained a steady number of weekly active users, averaging around 123K throughout the quarter.
